Head coach
Brian Flores has done a wonderful job of turning around the Miami Dolphins
franchise. The Dolphins are 9-5 and currently own the No. 7 seed in the AFC
playoffs and are ripe for bettors looking to profit on sports.
Even more
impressive is the work the Dolphins have done for bettors. Miami leads the NFL
with an 11-3 ATS mark. The Dolphins don’t mind the trip west either. They’ve
covered in their last five trips to the West Coast.

Defense
> Tua
Former
Alabama QB and No. 5 overall draft pick Tua Tagovailoa took over the Dolphins
offense after their bye week earlier this season. Tagovailoa hasn’t been the
story though for Miami. It’s been the Dolphins defense.
Miami has
given up the second-fewest points in the league and leads the NFL in forced
turnovers with 26. In their last three victories, the Dolphins have allowed a
combined total of just 22 points.
We missed
our Eagles
@ Browns free pick by a couple points a few weeks
back. Go take a look.
It’s a good
thing the Dolphins defense has been outstanding in 2020. The Miami offense,
especially that with Tagovailoa at quarterback, has been less than stellar.
To
Tagovailoa’s credit, he has been missing some of his top targets and may be
without them again this weekend. Wide receivers Davante Parker and Jakeem Grant
as well as TE Mike Gesicki are all listed as questionable for Saturday’s game
with the Raiders.
Week 15 was
another crazy week, including some big AFC East news. Check it all out at NFL
Week 15 by the numbers.
Carr
Accident & Elimination
The Raiders
might be in trouble as well as starting QB Derek Carr might be inactive due to
a groin injury. With Las Vegas officially eliminated from postseason
contention, it might be wise to start backup Marcus Mariota. Either way, the
Raiders will have a tough time against a very good Miami defense.
Head coach
Jon Gruden and the Raiders were right in the thick of the playoff race until
they lost four of their last five games. Las Vegas has been absolutely
horrendous on defense. In those last five games, the Raiders have allowed an
average of 36 points per game. That will not put many wins on the board.
What the
Raiders do have is some talent on offense that can score some points. Running
back Josh Jacobs (907 rushing yards) is closing in on the 1,000-yard mark.
Tight end Darren Waller (967 receiving yards) is nearing the 1,000-yard
receiving mark.

The bottom
line on Saturday is that this is a Flores-coached Dolphins team and that means
something. Almost from the start, Flores made Miami more competitive. Overall,
in his almost two full seasons, Flores is 20-10 ATS.
If you take
out the first month of his tenure, that record against the spread becomes 20-4.
The Dolphins are 9-1 ATS in their last ten games and 4-1 ATS in their last five
road games.
The Under
has cashed in four of Miami’s last five games, so expect a low-scoring affair
especially if the Raiders are without Carr.
